Overview

Pueblo Catering is a family catering company in Pueblo, Colorado, serving Italian, Mexican, and American food for events across southern Colorado. Axion Deep Digital designed and built their website from scratch.

It is a custom-coded site, not a template or a page builder: server-rendered React exported to static HTML on AWS, mobile-first, and wired for lead capture from day one.

This is a live client engagement, not one of our own products. The goal was simple: a site a local catering customer can find, trust, and inquire through in under a minute.

The Challenge

Local catering is won and lost in local search and in the first thirty seconds on a page. Someone searches for catering near them, lands on a site, and decides in seconds whether to reach out.

Most small-business sites make that hard on themselves. In our own audit of 292 small-business websites, 96.9% failed at least one Lighthouse mobile page-experience threshold, and 73% were missing the llms.txt file that makes a business legible to AI assistants.

Pueblo needed to launch on the right side of those numbers: fast on a phone, readable by both Google and AI, and set up to turn a visitor into an inquiry without friction.

The Solution

Custom static build

Server-rendered React exported to static HTML on AWS Amplify. No page builder, no plugin bloat. The full page content lives in the HTML itself, so search engines and AI crawlers read it without executing JavaScript.

Local + AI-ready structured data

LocalBusiness and FAQ schema describe the business, its location, and its hours to Google, plus an llms.txt file so ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can summarize and recommend it.

Lead capture wired in

A Site2CRM contact form and popup capture name, email, and phone, then sync every inquiry to the CRM automatically. No lead sits forgotten in an inbox.

Secure and fast by default

HSTS with preload, modern image formats, and a mobile-first layout with a 0.9-second first paint and zero layout shift.

Measured with DeepAudit AI, our own real-browser audit, on the live site. Search and booking numbers are accruing since launch and will be added as they mature.

100 / 100 technical SEO

A perfect technical SEO score in our real-browser scan: schema, metadata, canonicals, and mobile-first structure all clean.

95 mobile performance

A 95 mobile performance score with a 0.9-second First Contentful Paint and zero cumulative layout shift. Accessibility and best practices both score 96.

AI-ready from day one

Server-rendered content, LocalBusiness and FAQ schema, and an llms.txt file, so AI assistants can read and recommend the business. In our 292-site study, 73% of small-business sites were missing that file.

Lead capture live

Site2CRM contact form and popup wired in at launch, capturing inquiries and syncing them to the CRM automatically, with the first inquiries already in.
