DeepAudit AI Is Now on Zapier. Automate Your SEO Audits.

Joshua R. Gutierrez4 min read
DeepAudit AI Zapier integration: a website being audited and scored, with results flowing through an automation hub into connected apps like spreadsheets, chat, CRM, calendar, and email.

We built DeepAudit AI to produce a useful website audit in about a minute, without requiring an account or a sales call.

The next request was obvious. People wanted the result inside the CRM, spreadsheet, or project system where they were already working. DeepAudit AI is now publicly available on Zapier, in beta.

What the Zapier action returns

The Run SEO Audit action takes a publicly accessible URL and returns the audit as mappable fields: the score and letter grade, a plain-language summary, the top issues, the per-category scores, a link to the full report, a PDF, and how many audits remain on your key this month. A second action, Get Audit Report, retrieves an existing result by audit ID when a later step in the workflow needs it again.

DeepAudit loads the page in Chromium and lets JavaScript content render, then checks technical SEO, metadata, page structure, indexability, performance, accessibility, and structured data. You can run the same thing by hand at axiondeepdigital.com/free-seo-audit.

It is still an automated audit. It tells you where to look. It does not decide what should change.

The workflow we built first

Our first use case was lead research.

When a prospect submits a form, the Zap sends their website URL to DeepAudit. The score, top findings, report link, and PDF are written back to the lead record before we ever open it. The first conversation then starts with something specific: this site has no meta descriptions, or its content does not survive rendering, or its mobile performance is failing.

The tool does not write the pitch. It removes the manual work of copying a URL into an audit tool, waiting, and pasting the report into the CRM.

Other workflows worth building

Keep a history. Write each completed audit to Google Sheets or Airtable with the domain, date, score, and top findings. Over time that shows an agency which client sites improved and which ones slipped.

Watch for changes. Run audits on a schedule and post the result to Slack. When a score moves, someone should look at the underlying findings and work out whether the site changed, the scanner changed, or the run needs repeating. A lower score is a prompt to investigate, not proof of a regression.

Assign the work. Create a task from the findings, attach the report, and give it to whoever is responsible for reviewing it.

One thing we would not automate: sending audit findings straight to a client. Keep outbound email behind a human approval step. An audit tool can be wrong, and an automated finding should not become a confident client recommendation before someone has checked it.

Note the shape of all of this. DeepAudit is the action, not the trigger. Something else supplies the URL, whether that is a form submission, a CRM record, a spreadsheet row, or a schedule. DeepAudit returns the audit data. The rest of the Zap decides where that data belongs.

How to connect it

  1. Request a free API key at axiondeepdigital.com/api-access. Enter your email, open the magic link, and the key appears. The free tier is 10 audits a month.
  2. In Zapier, open the DeepAudit AI listing and connect it with that key.
  3. Pick the event that supplies the website URL, add the Run SEO Audit action, and map the returned fields into the CRM, spreadsheet, Slack message, or task that should receive them.

Why it is still marked beta

The integration is usable today, but the beta label is deliberate. We are watching for failed runs, edge-case URLs, confusing field names, and places where the returned data is awkward to map into another app. If something breaks, send us the workflow, the target URL, and the error, so we can reproduce it.

The integration is most useful when the audit is not the end of the process. Run it when a lead arrives, keep the result with the lead, and give someone a clear next action. Automation should remove the copying and the routing. It should not remove the review.
